What we store

Your email address, your resume file, and the facts we extract from it.

The answers you give us, including sensitive ones such as work authorization and any voluntary demographic answers you choose to provide. Sensitive answers are never shown back in the browser after you save them.

A record of each application: the job, the answers that were entered, the confirmation, and a screenshot of the form.

The accounts we create for you on employer and application sites, with a separate generated password for each site.

Your credit balance and purchase history. Card details go to Stripe. We never see or store your card.

Who receives your information

Employers and the application systems they use (Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, Jobvite, Workday) receive what we enter on each application you choose. That is the purpose of the product.

AI model providers receive your resume text, the job description and the form questions so that answers can be drafted.

Our infrastructure providers, for hosting, the database, sign-in and payments.

We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

Email

We do not have access to your inbox. If you set up forwarding, we read only the emails that you forward to your private holecard address. We use them to enter verification codes and to track application status. You can turn forwarding off in your email settings at any time.

AI

Some answers are drafted by AI from your resume. They are saved with each application so you can see exactly what was written and sent.

Accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile. You can see and correct your saved answers on the profile page.

Keeping and deleting

We keep your information while your account is open. Ask us to delete your account and we delete your resume, answers, application records and saved site passwords. Information already submitted to an employer is held by that employer, and we cannot delete it for you. Contact: support@holecard.me.
